Following an announcement earlier this year, the Vauxhall Zafira Tourer has now ceased production.
Believed to be due too the rise in SUV sales, one of the most iconic seven seaters on our roads has now stopped being produced, along with the Astra GTC. However, Vauxhall have not completely left people needing 7 seats in the dark - with the introduction of their all new seven seater the Combo Life.
Although being very different to the Zafira, the Combo Life is now the only seven seater which you can buy from Vauxhall - and it looks like the Combo van with windows. I guess we can hardly blame Vauxhall for discontinuing the Zafira, it was losing sales and now everybody wants SUV's anyway, I think that it would have been nice to see the Grandland X or similar with a seven seat variant at least, but that just isn't the way that Vauxhall wanted to play their game.
